  Notes	Mrs. Maudolean May “Pee Wee” Meadows, 82, of Hometown went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2009. She was born February 5, 1926. She was a longtime member of the Church of God in Hometown. She had retired from Putnam County Board of Education as a bus aide for handicapped children. She was preceded in death by her son, Wallace Shelby Meadows; husband, Carl W. Meadows; parents, Willie Barker and Corda Bell Fields; and sister, Dorthalean Raynes. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Wyant and husband Jerry of Eleanor; son, Carl W. “Doc” Meadows Jr. and wife Anita of Eleanor; sisters, Dorean Anderson of Kenna and Geneva Snyder of Ripley; brother, Delmas Fields of Statts Mill; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A tribute to the life of Mrs. Meadows will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens and Crematorium, Red House. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Gatens-Harding Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Poca, is serving the Meadows family.
