RACINE, Ohio - Otis F. Knopp, 80, of Racine died Jan. 11, 1998, in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.
He was a native of Gay, W.Va., a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Dorcas United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 602, Racine, and a retired attendance officer from Meigs County schools with 30 years' service.
Surviving: wife, Edna Wolfe Knopp; son, Max L. of Racine; daughter, Lois Sterrett of Lancaster; brothers, Ovie and Oak, both of Gay, Otmer of Cottageville, Va., Otho of Liverpool, W.Va.; five grandsons; five great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cremeens Funeral Home, Racine, with the Rev. Dewayne Stuttler and the Rev. Jim Corbitt officiating. Burial will be in Letart Falls Cemetery, Racine. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
