Mamie B. Hamrick, 92, of Charleston passed away Oct. 24, 2009, at Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley, following a long illness.
Born Oct. 6, 1917, in Ripley, she was a daughter of the late Homer Lee and Dora Hughes Roseberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burtus Hamrick; brothers, William “Bill” Roseberry, Leon “Bus” Roseberry, Lovell Lee Roseberry and Dale Roseberry; and sisters, Mary “Toot” Fox, Opal Burns and Bernice “Blackie” McKemy.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service will be held at Creston Church at a later date.
Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
