Nellie Francis Casto - Parkersburg News, The/Sentinel
Mrs. Nellie Francis Casto, 92 of Parkersburg a former Belpre resident for many years, passed away July 4, 2005 at the Willows Nursing Center. She was born in Evans, WV a daughter of the late William Robert and Flora Ann Hoschar Barr. She was a devoted and loving Mother and Gandmother and was protestant by faith.
Surviving are her children: Gene Casto of Deltona, Fla, Barbara Grace Hess of Belpre, Oh., and Betty Lou Blair of Mineral Wells, 2 brothers Dale Barr of Leon, WV and Reverend Charles Basil Barr of Walker, WV 2 sisters Inez Brotherton of Given, WV and Deloris Casto of Leon, WV, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arliage D. Casto, 1 son Delbert D. Casto, 1 daughter Lois Marie Casto, 4 brothers, William R. Barr, Jr., Hoyt Barr, Arthur Barr and Ray Barr, 2 sisters: Edith Boone and Iva Pearl Barr.
Services will be held Thursday 1PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Charles Basil Barr and Pastor Brian Harrell officiating.Burial will follow in Fairplains Cemetery, Jackson County, WV. Visitation 2-8 PM Wednesday.
