      BLADENBORO - Delmer Welch Shamblin, 73, of 193 Sweet Home Church Road, died Monday, March 15, 2004, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.

      Mr. Shamblin was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

      A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bladen Memorial Gardens by Neil Bullard.

      Mr. Shamblin is survived by his wife, Dorothy F. Shamblin of the home; a son, Tim Shamblin of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Joel Shamblin of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles Shamblin of Gallagher, W.Va.; and a grandchild.
