Deltie Ray, 94, of Harmony, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009 at Ravenswood Village.
She was born at Harmony, a daughter of the late Parker and Melissa Raines Shouldis. She was a homemaker, gardener and farmer and attended many area churches.
She is survived by three daughters, Mabel Burdette of Charleston, Eunice Hennen of Dunbar and Ilene Shamblin of Ravenswood; three sons, Kenneth Ray of Pinkerton, Ohio, Billy Ray of Gay and Foster Ray of Harmony; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Moses B. Ray in 1997; and several brothers and sisters.
Service was Saturday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cummings officiating. Burial was in the Ferrell Cemetery, Harmony.
