B. Thomas, 80, Roane Native, Dies Rev. Delmer Simmons and Rev. Hackney will conduct funeral services tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. for William B. Thomas, 80, of Harmony, Roane county. He died Sunday night at his home after a six weeks illness. The funeral will be at Harmony Baptist church, of which he was a member, and burial will be in Gandee cemetery at Harmony, with Vandale mortuary of Spencer in charge. The octogenarian was a life-long resident of Roane and widely known as a stockman and farmer. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Zean Rhodes Thomas; six daughters, Mrs. Brell Kee and Mrs. Lewis Harper, both of Harmony Mrs. W. A. Tenney of Columbus Ohio, Mrs. C. O. Hawkins of Sybial; Mrs. Maston White of Logan and Mrs. Russell Westfall of Charleston; five sons, Earl, Herbie and Rufus of Charleston; Roy of St. Albans and Dennie of Harmony.
