Accident Is Fatal to Carpenter at Nitro
George Wilson, 56, carpenter at the Viscose company plant at Nitro, was killed at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning when he was struck by a falling timber. He was assisting a crew of men to move a small building when the accident happened.
The deceased is survived by his widow and four daughters, Mrs. B. Fox, Maple and Katherine Wilson of Nitro and Lenia Wilson, who is attending Marshall College in Huntington.
Wilson was well known in Nitro having lived there for the past nine years. He was a former merchant having conducted a grocery store on First Avenue. No funeral arrangements have been made.

Hold Funeral Services
Funeral services for George Wilson who was killed at the Viscose Plant on Saturday, were held from his home on Ninth Street on Sunday afternoon with the Rev. O. L. Hawkins, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was at Spencer.
