Crystal A. Fisher
Crystal A. Fisher of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Charleston, went to be with Jesus March 17, 2009, in Akron City Hospital from heart failure.
Crystal was born in Kenna and had worked for Nu-Way Cleaners. She then moved to Akron, where she lived for 46 years, and retired from Quikey Manufacturing. She attended the Akron Baptist Temple and the former Cathedral of Tomorrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loren O. and Bertha Bonnett Fisher; maternal grandparents, William and Bell Hill Bonnett; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Alice Perkins Fisher; sister, Jill; and brothers, Regyal, Argyle, Billy, Ray and Hobart.
She is survived by sisters, Joann Fisher of Akron, Ohio, Noca Harrison of Nitro and Joyce Harrison of Kenna; brother, Rossie Fisher of Hartville, Ohio; nephew, Michael Fisher, who was very special to Crystal, of Akron, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, officiated by Pastor Jerry Bonnett. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
