Jo Ann Simons, 73, of Leroy passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at her home following a long illness.
She was born February 2, 1936, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Oman and Mildred Benson Casto. She was a homemaker and a Christian.
She is survived by her children Allen Null of Gay; Karen Kennerly and Belinda Anderson, both of Leroy; brothers and sisters Jack O. Casto of Navarre, OH; Betty Davis of Parkersburg; Dottie Anderson of Kenna; Dean Casto of Leroy; John Casto of Ohio; Denny Casto, Barb Simons, Linda Westfall, and Darry Casto, all of Leroy; Sharon Bryant and Peggy Schoffer, both of Michigan; Donald Casto of Ripley; Mary McKown of Ohio; and Roger Casto of Leroy; grandchildren Kayla Harris, Jessica Anderson, Chad Anderson, Samuel Null, Philip Null, Stephen Null, Jonathan Null, Bethany Null, J.D. Simons, Cathy Lawrence, Connie Null, Elonda Null, and Crystal Null; step-grandchildren Timmy Sisson, Amy Sisson, Tina Wilson, and Brent Anderson; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Kevin Null.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, at Casto Cemetery, Ripley.
Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, served the family.
