Easter M. Williams
Easter M. Williams, 85, of Kenna went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 4, 2008, at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
She was born Easter morning, April 1, 1923, at Statts Mill and was a daughter of the late Sheridon Casto and Clora Fields Casto Scarberry and stepdaughter of the late Enoch Scarberry.
She was a homemaker and a Christian.
Survivors include her sons, Dayton Williams and Eddie and Mary Williams, all of Kenna; her daughter, Juanita Williams Landfried Rhodes of Ripley; grandchildren, Carolyn S. Landfried of Ripley, Steven and Brandon Williams, both of Kenna; great-grandchildren, Zach Adams and Craig Madden of Ripley; and a sister, Genevieve Skeen of Kenna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Dayton Williams; a brother, Denny Casto; sister, Nellie Anderson; stepsisters, Clora Scarberry, Mildred Thomas, Thelma Ray, Laura Anderson and Ruby Scarberry; and stepbrothers, Wayne and Aveal Scarberry.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Billy Casto officiating. Burial will be in the Williams family cemetery, Kenna.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
