Will of James Byrnside
I, James Byrnside, of Montomery County and State of Virginia, do hereby make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, to-wit: first, that is to say, first of all I leave to my wife Ezabeler that part and so much of my estate as the law directs her to have so that she shant break this will.
Secondly -- I leave to my severn children, namely which was born to me and the said Ezaeler, to-wit: Mather 1762, John 1763, James 1865, Rachele 1767, Sarah 1769, Martha 1770, Mary 1773 (1783?) one dollar, to each of them, and each of them to-wit: until my other children come of age for the same. Thirdly, I leave to my three sons, to-wit: Joseph, Joshue, and Benjamin, which was born to me by Suanner Meadows all my land I now possess or in bonds to me for the title for the same to be equally divided between them and if death to either of them before they come of age, the survivors to have the land, and all the rest of my estate not heretofore mentioned of what nature, or nature of kind soever it may be, I leave to my three sons last mentioned to them and their heirs executors and administrators and assigns forever.
And lastly I do hereby appoint Isaac Estill and Suanner Meadows executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other will or wills by me made, as I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3rd day of February, 1806.
