Norma Lee Litton Thaxton Doub, 77, of St. Albans passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
Born April 4, 1931, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Cletis Carl and Mabel Sheets Litton. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Roy R. Thaxton and John J. Doub; sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Morris Davis; brother-in-law, Frank C. Davis; and nephews, Frank C. Davis and Robert E. Davis.
Norma attended schools on Charleston's West Side and retired from the West Virginia Board of Review, Employment Security.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald R. and Nancy Thaxton; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Dennis Pease; brother and sister-in-law, Kermit C. and Virginia Litton; sister and best friend, Madeline L. Davis; grandchildren, Charessa Wilkinson, Tom Peyton, Sarah Roberts and Amber Mouser; and great-grandchildren, Stormie and Starr Wilkinson, Grace and Huston Peyton, and Logan Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at First Presbyterian Church of St. Albans, 201 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans, with the Rev. Paul D. Romine officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
