She was a past Madam president and charter member of the Charleston Auxiliary of 519 FOE and a member of the Charleston Moose. Betty was preceded in death by her son, W. Ralph Casto Jr. Betty is survived by her husband, W. Ralph Casto Sr.; daughters, Gina and her husband, John Buchanan of South Charleston; and Lee Anne Cobbs of Atlantic City, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
