Olievia Jane Casto
Olievia Jane Casto, 90, of Statts Mill, passed away April 22, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, following a long illness.
She was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Statts Mill, a daughter of the late Owen and Cora Rhodes Casto. She was a homemaker and had attended Siniaville United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and raising flowers, especially her beautiful roses.
She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Casto of Statts Mill, Joyce Braden and her husband, Leonard, of Kenna and Connie Sharp and her husband, Donnie, of Fairplain; sons, Terry of Statts Mill and William and wife, Kathy, of Statts Mill; brothers, Glenn Foster Casto and Edsel Casto, both of Statts Mill; sister, Mamie Belle Stalnaker of Gay; grandchildren, Chris Braden, Travis Casto and Sara Ballengee; and great-grandchildren, Bryce and Reed Ballengee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer "Bus" Casto; brother, Ayrel Casto; and a sister, Dorothy Reed.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Siniaville United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Siniaville Church Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
The Casto family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hospice House for their kindness and support during Olievia's stay at their facility.
