Norma Moore, 82, of Lincoln, NE, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
Born September 5, 1927, in Ripley to Silas Walter and Mary Esta (Raines) Lupardus. She graduated from Ripley High School in 1945 and married Keith Moore on May 10, 1952.
Norma retired after 46 years as office manager with Prudential Insurance. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church, Bethany Women’s Club, Lincoln Business and Professional Women, Church Women United, WIC’s Board of Directors, Chapter #148, O.E.S. and Charity Rebekah Lodge #2.
Family members include husband Keith; sons and daughters-in-law Randy and Crystal, Don and Pam, both of Lincoln, NE, and Alan of Austin, TX; step-grandchildren Christy and Eric Manchester of Berthoud, CO, Jeff and Laura Moore of Austin, TX, Valerie and David Scharton, Mike Moore and friend Ashley Grossenbacher of Lincoln; step-children Charlie, Pamela and friend Drew Pierce, Spencer Wilksen of Lincoln; great-grandchildren Brayden Manchester of Berthoud, CO, Karsen Moore and Bryant Pierce of Lincoln; sister Maysel Faber of Coolville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jack and Bill Lupardus, and Leon Igo; sisters Mildred Grady, Juanita Carte, and Flaurel Garred; three brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE.
Funeral Service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 5, at Bethany Christian Church, 1645 North Cotner Blvd., with Rev. Daryl Lauber officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Family greeted friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p,m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
