Cobb STATTS MILL - Charles Wilbur Cobb, 60, of Statts Mill, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Nellie's Inc., Elkins, following an extended illness. He was born September 21, 1947, at Charleston, a son of the late John E. Cobb and Lucy G. Brown Cobb of Ripley. He was a farmer and a Baptist. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife Clara Norman Cobb; son Charles Cobb, II of Charleston; daughter Lucy Louise Cobb also of Charleston; brothers Edward Cobb of Hurricane, David Cobb of Lynchburg, VA amd John Alton Cobb and Michael Cobb both of Statts Mill; sisters Mary Ganiel of Ripley, Jo Jo Cunther of Roanoke, VA and Leona Gail Thornton of Red House and five grandchildren.
