The Columbus Dispatch Columbus, OH April 24, 2008 Carlos Leroy Harris HARRIS Carlos Leroy Harris, 63, of Columbus, Oh., passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Grant Hospital, in Columbus, Oh. He was born April 25, 1944, in Jackson County, the son of Luther and Luella Hite Harris. He was a Pastor at East Sunsbury Baptist Church in Beallsville, Oh. and later a teacher at the London Correction Institute in London, Oh. He was an Army veteran. He loved his chili dogs, his grandchildren and the Cleveland Indians. He is survived by his wife, Sue Harris of Columbus; and children, Roxanne Hawkins of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Allen Harris of Gatesville, Tex., Carla Nolan of Glenville, W.Va. and Shane Harris of Columbus, Oh. Service will be Friday, April 25, 2008, 11 a.m. at the PARSONS-WAYBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Ripley, W.Va. with Pastor Floyd Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sinaville Cemetery, Statts Mill, W.Va. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the funeral home.
