  Notes	Served with the 9th WV infantry. Wounded in the jaw at the Battle of Halltown Martha was the first wife of Thomas Jarvis. A fictional book entitled THE LEGEND OF MAMMY JANE was written about his second wife, Labana Jane. In the book his second wife promises Martha's little boy that she will see that his mother Martha has a nice tombstone. I don't know if that's true or not but she has one, so it might be.
