Brenda Joyce Kidd, 57, of Charleston passed away July 29, 2008, at her home after a short illness.
She was born April 12, 1951, in Charleston and was a daughter of the late Jack A. Taylor and Rose Ellen Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Kidd, and her nephew, Brian Page.
She was a former medical secretary and caterer. Brenda had been disabled for the last 17 years of her life. She enjoyed, more than anything, spending time with her family. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses, Shawn and Christa Withrow and Amy and Chris Dent; sister, Rosemarie Page; brother and his wife, Jim and Vicky Taylor; grandchildren, Shelby and Jarrett Withrow and Christopher and Denver Dent; and stepdaughter, Amy Danielle Hammet.
A memorial service will held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
A gathering of friends and family will follow at Brenda's home.
