  Notes	Jackson Herald Ripley, WV Friday, May 24, 1950 Anderson Rites Held On Monday  Albert J. Anderson, 78, died at his home in Ripley on Saturday following an illness of several weeks. His condition had been critical for several days and death had been expected. The funeral service was held at Grass Lick Monday afternoon with the Rev. D. C. Guthrie in charge and the burial was in the church cemetery.  The Parsons funeral directors were in charge of the arrangements.  Mr. Anderson was born near Kenna on February 5, 1872, a son of Andy and Melissa Anderson.  He engaged in farming all his life and was a man who held the respect of his friends and acquaintances.  Survivors include the widow, three sons, Fred and Clayton of Ripley and Omer of Fairplain; one daughter, Verdia Anderson of Ripley; four brothers, James and Okey of Fairplain, George of Kenna and Benny of Ripley and three sisters, Mrs. Susie Parsons of Dunbar, Mrs. Pheobe Wolfe  of Willow Grove and Mrs. Jennie Casto of Cabin Creek.  Transcribed by Francis Walker Thursday, November 24, 2011
