Kenna, WV -
Randy Leon Skeen, 47, of Kenna went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2009.
He was born August 24, 1961, in Kenna, a son of Vairl and Genevieve Scarberry Skeen of Kenna.
He was a core driller with Triad Engineering.
In addition to his parents, he left behind his wife, Pamela; sons Nathan Skeen and Brooke Cohen of Charleston, Nicholas Skeen and his wife Katie and their children Braela, Isabella and Colston of Ripley, and his younger son Zak, who still lives at home.
He also left behind sisters and brothers-in-law Phillis and James Kiser, Charlene and Dorsel Harrison, Francis and J.D. Miller and Connie and Chris Messick; brother Roger and Aline Skeen; previous sister-in-law Barbara Skeen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randy loved riding his Harley, listening to country music and spending time with grandchildren, family and friends. He will be missed more than words can describe. A part of the family circle has been broken, but he will always remain in our hearts, and time will never erase our love and memories.
Funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Elmer Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.
Friends called from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service Saturday.
