Wilmer Donald Duff
Wilmer Donald Duff was born on October 31, 1916 and departed this life with heart trouble on November 26, 1942, aged 26 years and 26 days. He was the son of Samuel and Ola Myrtle Duff, of Mt Tell, and is survived by his father, five brothers, Oren and Otmer, of Charleston, Delner (Delmer?) of Camp Grant, Ill, Ray and Marvin, at home; three sisters, Mrs Warren Lanham, of Charleston, Mrs Delmer Good, of Kenna, and Ruby, at home.; his grandparents, Mr & Mrs George Godbey, of Mt Tell.
His mother preceded him in death on April 16, 1933, one sister Rada, and two brothers died in Infancy. Donald died at the home of his sister, Mrs. (Goldie) Warren Lanham. of Charleston, and his suffering was great. Funeral services were held at the Duff cemetery at two o'clock on Saturday, by Rev Warren Anderson, of Charleston. Donald was laid to rest beside his mother. The Mays-Parsons mortuary was in charge of the burial.
