    • Helen Lucille Stone, 87 of Given, passed away January 2, 2018 at Ravenswood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
      She was born November 17, 1930 in Putnam County, a daughter of the late James and Freddie Carney Casto. She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Zion Church, Jim Ridge. She loved gardening, quilting and canning. She loved being with her grand babies as they were the light of her life!
      She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Otis Stone; daughters Janet (Arthur) Cain and Nancy (Lawrence) Cain all of Given; brother Dale (Lavada) Casto of Buffalo; grandchildren, Misty (Rodney) Lanier, Shannon (Davy) Fisher, Mendy (Eric) Fiori, Michelle Stover and Trent (Alisha) Cain; great grandchildren, Ashtyn Johnson, Cole Fisher, Eliana Fiori, Lucille Fiori and Otis Fiori.
      In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Stover; sisters Ethel Erwin, Margaret Stone and Beulah Riffee; brothers Charles Casto, Oliver Casto and Harley Casto.
      Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Robert O. Watkins and Donnie Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jim Ridge, Putnam County. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
      The family would like to thank Ravenswood Village Nursing Facility for the loving care and compassion shown to Helen and all of the family during her time there.
      In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Helen be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund, 6341 McLane Pike, Red House, WV 25168.
