  Notes	The Times Record Spencer, WV 1987 Lakeland, Fla. – Mrs. Obyra Harper Quick, 68, of Lakeland, formerly of Clendenin, W.Va., died Sept. 20, 1987, at home after a long illness. She was born in Spencer, W.Va. She attended Marshall University, the Pharmacy School of Medical College of Virginia and was the first woman to graduate from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She attended Clendenin First Baptist Church and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Lakeland. She was a member of West Virginia Pharmaceutical Association and Lakeland Yacht and Country Club. Surviving: husband, Dr. James C. Quick; sons, John A. of Atlanta, Ga., Joseph S. of Gainesville; mother, Mrs. Stella Harper of Zephyrhills; sisters, Mrs. Maxine O'Dell of Charleston, W.Va., Mrs. Uldena Ellis of Dunbar, W.Va., Mrs. Mary Jane Bond of Huntsville, Ala.; one grandson. Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Harper Memorial Church, Harmony, W.Va., with the Rev. Robert E. Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Harper family cemetery, Harmony. (Jones Ridge Rd) Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Knight-Young-Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin. The family suggests donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, P.O. Box 1183, Winter Haven, Fla. 33882.
