  Notes	William L. Slaughter, 82, Kenna WV William Lewis "Bill" Slaughter of Kenna passed away Sunday May 23, 2010, at Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley, following a long illness. He was born July 27, 1927 at Belgrove, a son of the late Kenna and Martha Stalnaker Slaughter. He worked in construction. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dassel Reed Slaughter; brothers, Max Slaughter of Doylestown, OH, Larry Slaughter of Doylestown, OH and Eugene Slaughter of Ripley; sisters Anna Lee Carr of St. Albans, Betty Taylor of Cincinnati, OH, and Joyce Rhodes of North Lawrence, OH; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ross Slaughter, Austin Slaughter, and sister Eris Carpenter. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, May 26 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
