He was last employed by the Kanawha Manufacturing Co. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Nettie Clay; two daughters, Miss Edith Clay at home and Mrs Harry Solomon of St Albans; three sons, George, Alfred and Dan, all of Charleston; one brother, Charles, of Coal Fork; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a member of Oak Hill Gospel Tabernacle, and was a son of the late James and Eliza Spradling Clay, born May 26, 1871 in Charleston. The body is at Bartlett Mortuary, Clay, James H. - Services will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the Oak Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Oak Ricge Road. The Rev Hobson D Fisher and the Rev W A Byus will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial park under direction of the Bartlett mortuary. The body was to be take to the residence today at 4 pm and to the church an hour before the service. Mr Clay, 81, died Saturday at his home at 1848 Oak Ridge Dr
