  Notes	The Times Record Spencer, WV 1990 Nora Mae Sams, 67, of Parkersburg, died Sunday, Novemebr 25, 1990 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Roane County, a daughter of the late Mattison D. and Abbie D. Brown Cobb. She had worked as a private duty nurse for several years and was formerly employed at the O. Ames Co. She was a Baptist by faith. She is survived by two sons, Larry M. of Wellsville, Ohio, and Gary R. of Parkersburg; one daughter, Texanna O'Neill of Parkersburg; two brothers, Howard Cobb of Parkersburg and James Earl Cobb of Fort Knox, Ky.; 10 sisters, Emma Stanton, Jean Starling and Carol Snider all of Parkersburg, Pearl Rushing of Zanesville, Ohio, Juanita Maxwell of Chamblee, Ga., Mary Stwart of Phoeniz (sic), Ariz., Ruth Milam of Missouri and Betty Higginbotham of Harrisville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. Sams, in 1986; one son, Curtis M. Sams, in 1985; and one brother, Raymond M. Cobb. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Kimes Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
