  Notes	The Times Record Spencer, WV 1994 Orvie E. Reed, 82 of Harmony, died Tuesday, September 27, 1994 at the home of his daughter, Juanita Lewis in Clendenin, after a long illness. He was born in Roane County, a son of the late Luther Laurel and Cora Alice Dearman Reed. He was retired from Rouser Oil Company as a driller. He was a farmer and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Mt. Herman Community Church, near Harmony. In addition to his daughter, Juanita, he is survived by two other daughters, Velma Kiser of Elkview and Phyllis Fleharty of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, James N. Reed of Winfield and Jack L. Reed of Williamstown; one sister,Kathleen Clendenin of Titusville, Fla.; two brothers, Willard Ross Reed of Charleston and William Harry Reed of Morehad City N.C.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Florence Reed in 1993 and two sisters, Edith Harper and Shirley Romine. Services were held Friday at the Mt. Herman Community Church, with Rev. Frank Allen and Rev. Sinnett Summers officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Herman Cemetery. Vandale Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
