Wright, 90, of Radnor, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in Delaware Court Health Care Center. He was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Penile, W.Va., to James and Arba (Carper) Wright. He served his country with the U.S. Navy Seabees in World War II. He had been a resident of Radnor Township since 1937, and was a retired employee of Radnor Township. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Tom Smart of Marion; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Beverly of Huntsville and Johnny and Susan of Houston; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa in 1987; by six sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware, where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor William Benner officiating. Interment will be in Radnor Cemetery where the Delaware County Veterans Association will perform military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 39 W.
