Delores June Poling
Delores June Poling, 72, of Clendenin died Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at the home of her daughter after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late George Counts Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Poling Jr., and a son, Dwayne Poling.
She was a homemaker and attended Young's Memorial United Methodist Church, Queen Shoals, for 35 years.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Counts Fisher; daughters, Mary Janet Caruthers of Ivydale and Patricia Joan and husband, Bruce Inman, of Sidney, Ohio; sisters, Katherine Askew and Frances and her husband, Steve Loftis, all of Charleston, Bonnie Kiser of Sissonville, Hattie Hamons of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Ada and her husband, John Hutsenpillar, of Elkview; brothers, George Counts Jr. of Charleston and Ray Counts of North Port, Fla.; and grandchildren, William B. Morehead, Kayleigh N. Moore and Matthew D. Caruthers.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Pastor Allen Jones officiating. The burial will be in the Cleek-Poling Cemetery, Kentuck.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
