      Ella Louise Casto, 91, of Williamstown died Friday, April 24, 2009, at Marietta Center.

      She was born June 13, 1917, in Marietta, to James William and Bertha Richey Casto. She had attended Williamstown schools. Louise enjoyed cooking, gardening, raising flowers, but caring for her family was most important to her.

      She is survived by two sons, Gary L. Casto (Karla) and Lonnie S. Casto (Peggy), all of Williamstown; six grandchildren, Michael L. Casto (Barbara) of Horner, W.Va., James S. Casto (Tammy) of Billings, Mont., Matthew S. Casto (Lori) of Evans, W.Va., Leigh A. Sexton (Jamie) of Gray, Tenn., and Chris Warden (DeAnna) and Cindy Swisher (Jamie), all of Michigan; 10 great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Wanda Spence of Columbus; and a sister-in-law, Margery A. Casto of Williamstown.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey S. Casto on June 14, 1998; a son, Doyle E. Casto; one brother; and five sisters.

      Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with The Rev. Chad Mugrage officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
