He moved to a Racine, Ohio, farm with his son and two daughters and NO Wife. In 1840 Reuben married his 3rd wife, Elizabeth VanRansiller, b. 1-24-1814, d. 6-30-1882 at age 68 years, 4 months, 27 days. The couple had one child, Reuben W. Cooper, b. 1792. He left a will in Edgefield, SC vol 1 Book 1817-1835 C p. 243, Elizabeth has one on pa. 561.
