He received his bachelor's degree from Morris Harvey College, Charleston, was a former teacher, a retired technical coordinator from Kaiser Aluminum and Ravenswood Aluminum, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a Protestant. Surviving: wife, Anna Mae Stephens Easter; son, Irvin Lee of Mooresville, N.C.; daughter, Belinda Joan Boggess of Ripley; sister, Helen Sterm of Ripley; four grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre and the Rev. Mike Norris officiating. Burial will be in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.
