  Notes	Cloyd R. Brotherton MILLWOOD - Cloyd Robert "Bob" Brotherton, 77, of Millwood, Jackson County, died March 11, 1997, at home after a long illness. He was a retired carpenter from the Kanawha County Board of Education and a member of the Carpenters union. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a former prisoner of war in Germany. He was a member of VFW and was a Protestant. Surviving: sons, Robert Jr. of Ripley, David of Ypsilanti, Mich. daughter, Melody Gaida of Cottageville sister, Lula Wolfe of Millwood foster brother, Roy Boggs of Ravenswood five grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Arles Covert officiating. Burial with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 6669 will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, near Ravenswood. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
