  Notes	Ronald Allen Rhodes, Sr., 78 of Point Pleasant, formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011 at his home following a long illness. He was a retiree of Kenner Rolling Door Co. in Columbus with over 30 years service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed farming.Born December 20, 1932 he was the son of the late Edward Rhodes and Edith Warner Rhodes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Opal Landis Rhodes.He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Nixola Jeffries Rhodes; daughter, Kay (Pat) Murphy of Springfield, OH; son, Ronnie (Michele) Rhodes, Jr. of Columbus, OH; sisters, Emma Jean Herdman of Buffalo, and Edra Miller of Georgia; step-sons, Denver L. Rhodes, Jimmy Rhodes, and Jack Rhodes; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Raynes Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will follow in the Walker Chapel Cemetery, Robertsburg. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service.
