Also surviving: daughters, Mrs. Leona Harrison and Mrs. Barbara Hatcher, both of Charleston, Mrs. Clara Harrison of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sons, Charles of Tampa, Earl of Westwego, La.; brothers, Perry of Gay, Otis of Pontiac, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Services was Saturday in Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Charles Scaggs officiating. Burial was in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. (Jackson Herald, Wed., 28 Jan 1987)
