  Notes	Minnie Randolph Chancey Minnie Elsie Randolph Chancey, 90, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Eldercare of West Virginia. She was born April 26, 1918, in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Christopher and Biddie Comer Randolph. She was a homemaker that enjoyed spending time at the senior citizen center, a good Christian, and a member of the Centennial Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley Chancey; a son, Talmadge Clifton Chancey; a son-in-law James Garrett; three brothers, Ezra and Brady Randolph and Roy Jackson; four sisters, Lona Jones, Mary Lupardus, Bessie Evans and Hattie Facemyer. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ilene Garrett of Ripley; four grandchildren, John Garrett (Crystal) of Ripley, Mark Garrett (Sandy) of Ripley, Larry Chancey (Janet) of Ripley, and Brenda Brown (Tom) of Kenna; four great-grandsons, Jeremy Chancey, Drew Garrett, Luke Lopez and Sammy Brown; three great-granddaughters, Amanda Garrett, Miranda Garrett and Kendra Chancey; one great-great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Garrett; six stepgrandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, will be serving the family.
