Holley Carl Mullins
Holley Carl Mullins, 80, of Winifrede died Sunday, June 26, 2005, at home after a long illness.
He was a retired coal miner from Winifrede Mines and was a member of UMWA. He was a member of Winifrede Presbyterian Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Holley was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mennie Mullins on June 11, 2005.
Surviving are his grandson and wife, Shane and Teresa Smith of Alum Creek; daughter-in-law, who was thought of as a daughter, Sandy Quillen of Winifrede; sisters, Laura Sayer of Clendenin, and Edna Canterbury of Cleveland, Ohio; very special nephew, Kenny Dawson; five great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Timothy Deal officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at the funeral home.
