    • Norma Joy Sayre, 74, of Ravenswood, W.Va., died April 4, 2009, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

      She was born March 5, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Samuel and Angie Beukema Siegers. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting and dancing.

      She is survived by three daughters; one son; two stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ohley Sayre; son, Wayne Blockland; and one brother, Harvey Siegers.

      Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood. Burial will be in the Sayre Family Cemetery in Clendenin, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to Roush Funeral Home, P.O. Box 933, Ravenswood, WV 26164, to assist the family with expenses.
