Wreck Kills Sister of Local People
A sister of two local residents was killed Saturday and her son seriously injured in an automobile accident near New Erie, W.Va.
Mrs Cozie Alice Haynes, 51, of Sandyville, was dead as a result of the accident. She was a sister of Mrs Joe Anderson and Wademan Randolph, both of Pt Pleasant. Mrs Haynes son, Dorsel, is a patient in Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg where he was taken after the wreck.
Mrs Hayhes was the wife of Clyde Haynes and she is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs Naomi Musgrove of Maryland and Miss Georgia Haynes at home; four sons, Dale, Clay, Chester and Dorsel; and her brother and sister, Mrs Anderson and Mr Randolph, who will attend the funeral services.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Independence Chruch in Sandyville.
