Mrs Mary Elizabeth Harpold, age 68 years, wife of Daniel Harpold, 1209 Third avenus, died at the home Monday morning. She is survived by her husband, one son, Charles Shaffer, one daughter, Mrs Mamie Berry; four brothers, Robert Ray, Charles Ray & William Ray, all of Charleston, Andrew Ray of Little Sandy; three sisters, Mrs Chester England and Mrs Ella Bonnett, Raymond City, Mrs Emma Reed, Sissonville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday by Rev John Elmore and burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery

Mary was first married to Andrew Jackson Shaffer in 1880, son of David Lee Shaver/Shaffer and Naomi Jarvis.
Second marriage was to Joseph Cook about 1889.
Third marriage was to Daniel W. Harpold between 1890 & 1900.
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harpold, 68, died at the family home, 1209 -Third avenue, yesterday, survived by her husband Daniel Harpold, one son Charles Shaffer, and one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Berry. Mrs. Harpold also leaves four brothers, Robert Ray, Charles Ray, William Ray, all of Charleston, and Andrew Ray, of Little Sandy; three sisters, Mrs. Chester England, Mrs. Ella Bonnett, both of Raymond City, and Mrs. Emma Reed, of Sissonville. The funeral will be held in. the Owen .and Barth chapel at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. John P. Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.
