  Notes	Parkersburg News, The/Sentinel - (May/23/2008) Janet D. Barrick, 87, of Sistersville, W.Va., died May 22, 2008, at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born July 20, 1920, in Swickley, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph Doig and Mae Melissa Chalace Gilleland. She was a homemaker and past president of the Women's Auxiliary VFW Post 6327, Sistersville. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa B. Flesher of Sistersville; son, William D. Barrick III of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Tamara Workman, Cree Lemasters, Courtney Barrick and Stephanie Barrick; great-grandchildren, Billy Workman, Tyler Lemasters and Kadance Barrick; brothers, Colin Doig of Sistersville and Bill Gilleland of Hamlin, W.Va.; and a sister, Wanda Mullins of Maine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Barrick Jr. in 1985; son, General Timothy C. Barrick; brothers, Joe and Don Doig; and sisters, Bobbi Springer, Ruth Gatrell, Dorothy Erickson and Ethel Mae Boyles. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, with the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Journey Hospice, 314 S. Wells St., Sistersville, WV 26175.
