Arnold W. Rhodes, 66, of Charleston died Jan. 27, 1996, in Cedar Ridge Nursing Center, Sissonville, after a long illness.
He was a native of Putnam County, a three year resident of Charleston, formerly of Cross Lanes, and a former employee of Raleigh Junk with 15 years service.
Surviving: stepdaughter, Doreen Moore of Charleston; stepsons, Keith R. Withrow of Cross Lanes, Jerry L. Withrow of Charleston, Lionel E. Withrow of Huron, S.D.; sisters, Cora Rhode of Charleston, Martha Harrison of Bancroft, Ruby Woods of Weston, Madalyn Rhodes of Elkhart, Ind., Myrtle West of Seattle; brothers, George of Hometown, Denzil of Nitro, Walter of Marion, Ky.;10 grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Cemetery, Cross Lanes, with Pastor Greg Cast.
