Surviving: wife, Mrs. Mattie Burgess; daughters, Miss Eva Burgess, Mrs. Bertha Ellis and Mrs. Helen Naylor, all of Charleston. Mrs. Orva Chapman of St. Albans; sons, Marvin and Glow, both of Charleston Ivan of South Charleston; sister Mrs. Ina Griffith of Artie. The body is at the Cunningham Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. today. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cunningham Funeral Home with the Rev. Deward Jarrell officiating.
