Euneva K. Monday
Euneva K. Monday, 85, of Charleston passed away April 18, 2010.
She was a daughter of the late Willie and Goldie Thomas Rhodes and was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Adrian L. Monday.
Euneva loved her flowers and was anxiously awaiting springtime. She was retired from The Diamond department store and was formerly employed by Stone & Thomas department store. She attended Watts Chapel Church and Warren Chapel Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea (Billy) Tucker of Dunbar; son, Gregory (Sharon) Monday of Kenna; six grandchildren, Sabrina Monday, Jennifer Tucker, Ryan Monday, Cassie Monday, Patty Hamilton and Kevin Booher; her siblings, Kermit Rhodes of Kenna, Juanita Slater of Dunbar, Doris Boggess of New Manchester and Pat Leaptrot of Kenna; and six great-grandchildren. Euneva also had lots of loving nieces, nephews and very dear friends left to cherish her memory.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
