Surviving are his wife, Rachael Anna; a son, James Curtis, with the Navy; a stepson, Ayward Jones of Racine, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Opal Elmore of Clendenin, Mrs., Delbert Jones of Blue Creek, Miss Phyllis Harper at home and Miss Virginia Harper of Blue Creek; three brothers, Glennis and Lakin of Walton and Bruce of Canton, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Oshel Hunt of Walton, Mrs. Opal Scarbro of Marietta, Ohio, and Mrs. Ora Parsons of Canton, Ohio; a half sister, Mazel Harper of Walton, and two grandchildren.
