Youdoris Faber, 92 of Ripley, passed away March 11, 2019 in Eldercare of Ripley following a long illness.
She was born September 30, 1926 in Goldtown, a daughter of the late Chris and Cora Wingett Faber. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Jessie, Alva and Marshall and sisters Belle Hutchinson, Annalene Faber, Rosalie Miller, Gustava Ashby and Versie Faber.
In her early years, Youdoris worked at Mays General Store in Kenna. She retired from Young’s Department Store in Charleston with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Ripley Senior Citizens and while living in Charleston, attended North Charleston Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her family sincerely appreciates the care given to her by the employees of Eldercare in her last years.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with John Gunther officiating. Burial will be in the Given Cemetery, Given, WV. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
