  Notes	The Gallipolis Daily Tribune Thursday Dec. 30, 1954 Cheshire Woman Dies Wednesday Mrs. Maude Wheaton, 70, Rt. 1 Cheshire, died enroute to Meigs General Hospital, Pomeroy, Wednesday night. Cause of death was not revealed Thursday morning. She is survived by her husband Forrest D. Wheaton; three daughters, Mrs. Wm. Oxyer and Mrs. Dow Little, both of Rt. 1 Cheshire, and Miss Marie Wheaton, at home; three sons, Harold, Cheshire, Joe, Columbus and John Dayton. One sister, Miss Jessie Strausbaugh, Fostoria, and 13 grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Rawlings-Coats Funeral home, Middleport, until time for the funeral services which will be held from the funeral parlor at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Sherley Woods, pastor of the Cheshire Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Ridge cemetery, near Cheshire.
