He was born on Dec. 3, 1918, in Preston, Idaho, to Charles and Bertha Stewart Bodily. Curtis was preceded in death by his brothers, Harrison S. Bodily and Weldon S. Bodily; and sisters, Sarah Sterling and Ruth Vandeventer. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Laura Bodily; daughters, Shirley R. Utz, Connie L. Fry, Donna J. Kelly and Cindy A. Meyers; grandchildren, Christina McFarland, Brandy Leona Clayton, Eric V. Meyers and Judith K. Tanini; great-grandchildren, Savana Reed, Maya Graham, Shayla Marshall, Tasha Lee Meyers, Thaddeus Clayton, Jr., and Adele and Eloise Tanini; sisters, Thelma Stephenson of Danville, Ind., and Maurine Pugmire of San Diego; and brother, Edwin Bodily of Winnemucca, Nev. Funeral services will be conducted from McLaughlin Mortuary on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. with Stephen Olivier officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Ave., Fort Walton Beach, is entrusted with the arrangements.
